Our permanent grandstands are custom built to the requirements of
your specific application taking into consideration the desired
seating capacity, sightlines, spectator flow, applicable building
codes, and available space. We offer two different understructure
designs: Clear-span, I-beam structures or angle frame structures.
The Clear-span, I-beam structures are fabricated from wide flange
steel shapes, hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication, and anchored
to concrete foundations. These structures offer the most flexibility
in design and can be easily adapted to accommodate varying sight
conditions such as hillsides or uneven terrain. The angle frame
structures are available in galvanized steel or aluminum angle and
require a level site. The angle frame structures are either attached
to a concrete foundation or can be anchored using earth anchors. On
either the I-beam or angle frame structures, the seating/decking is
constructed of extruded aluminum. This combination of galvanized
steel and extruded aluminum results in years of maintenance-free
service. Many design options exist for the grandstands regarding
rise/tread dimensions, decking choices, and exit requirements.
